The SD-N5 Battery

We've put all our 21 years experience of designing and making Video and Film camera batteries into the SD-N5 Battery. It has all the features Video and Broadcast professionals need. and to make doubly sure, they've been tested by a leading TV company powering DSR200 cameras on a 12 programme series. The result of this field testing is that they've ordered more, as the 4050mAh Li-ion battery supplied with the camera only lasts 55mins.

The Sd-N5 battery has a full 36 Watt hours of usable capacity that runs these power hungry cameras for 3 hours 30 minutes of continuous recording.

There's an Integral DC Power Socket for powering an optional DSM SD-1 Video Light at the same time as recording, an optional Radio Microphone holder is also available The camera's in-viewfinder Battery meter displays the power remaining and they can also be charged anytime with the supplied DSM Charger.

The SD-N5 fits neatly and securely to the rear of the camera in the same way as the optional DCA10000 3 battery holder, power is connected via the Cameras DC input. When the power plug is connected the rubber connector cover can be partially closed holding the plug neatly in place.
