DSM CD-N5 On-Camera Battery
for Canon XL-1 Cameras 

Introducing the DSM CD-N5 on-camera battery forCanon DM-XL1 cameras . At only 900 grams this hand-built battery has 5 hours continuous recording power. Can also power a DSM N5 video light at the same as recording (reduced recording times). Comes complete with a 230V mains charger (110V chargers and Car Chargers are also available).  It attaches very simply to the accessory plate of the optional Canon MA100 XLR mic adapter and in the shoulder mounted position, balances the camera really well. Power is connected to the camera as the optional 2 battery holder by the cameras own DC cable. The outer case is made from a very strong ABS plastic with a very smart Hi Tech Kevlar effect finish or a light grain effect.
